Terms of Service

By accessing or using qiora.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Qiora provides a Four Pillars (Saju/Bazi) chart calculator and related content for entertainment and self-discovery purposes only. The Service includes a free chart calculator, optional user accounts with saved profiles, and paid in-depth readings generated using traditional East Asian metaphysical systems and AI interpretation.

• You may sign in using a supported third-party provider (currently Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• When you enter another person's birth details, you confirm that you have their permission to do so.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• "Qi" is a virtual credit used within the Service to unlock readings and other paid features.
• Qi is not money: it has no cash value, cannot be transferred to another person or account, and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
• Qi purchased on or after August 1, 2026 is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. Validity is calculated separately for each purchase, and expired Qi is forfeited and non-refundable. Qi purchased before that date does not expire.
• We may grant bonus Qi at our discretion (e.g., promotions); bonus Qi carries the same restrictions and is valid for 3 years from the date it is granted.
• Prices in Qi for readings and features are shown before purchase and may change over time.

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices for Qi packages are shown at checkout in the displayed currency; applicable taxes may be added depending on your location.
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make purchases, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

• Unused Qi may be refunded within 14 days of purchase — or any longer period required by the mandatory consumer law of your place of residence. If part of a Qi package has been spent, the refund covers the unused portion on a pro-rata basis.
• Readings and other digital content unlocked with Qi are delivered immediately upon purchase. By unlocking a reading, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, the purchase is final once the reading is generated.
• If a technical error on our side prevents a purchased reading from being delivered, we will restore the Qi spent or refund the purchase. Contact us at qiora@qiora.app.

Qiora's readings and analyses are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. They should not be considered professional advice — including but not limited to medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. You should not make life decisions solely based on the results provided by this Service.

Readings are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or inconsistencies. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any reading. Readings are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Misrepresent the Service's output as professional or scientific analysis.
• Abuse promotions, payment systems, or chargebacks, or attempt to obtain Qi or readings fraudulently.
• Enter another person's personal information without their permission.

All content, design, and code on qiora.app are owned by Qiora and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share your personal chart results, but you may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content.

• You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. If we terminate your account for a violation, Qi obtained fraudulently may be revoked; unspent Qi is otherwise governed by Section 6 (Refunds).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qiora is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on chart readings. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country or state of residence.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date, and where appropriate, notified by email or in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
