Saju Prompt for ChatGPT: Get a Free, Accurate Saju Reading

To get a real Saju reading from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, use a prompt that already contains your calculated chart. If you only give the AI your birth date, it has to work out your Four Pillars itself, and it often gets them wrong. Here's how to get a free Saju prompt from Qiora and paste it in.

Saju prompt for ChatGPT: a laptop on a misty ink-wash cliff showing a Four Pillars chart in an AI chat

To get a real Saju reading from ChatGPT, use a Saju prompt that already contains your calculated chart. If you just type your birth date and ask "read my Saju," the AI has to calculate your chart itself, and that calculation often goes wrong. Qiora gives you a free Saju prompt with your chart already worked out, ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.

This post covers what a Saju prompt is, why the copy-paste prompts floating around online rarely give an accurate reading, and how to get and use the free one step by step.

What is a Saju prompt?

A Saju prompt is the instruction you give an AI like ChatGPT to read your Saju chart, the Korean Four Pillars system. A good one has three parts: your calculated chart data, the role and tone you want the AI to take, and what you want read, in what order.

The first part matters most. AI is good at writing a reading, but if the eight characters underneath it are wrong, even a beautiful reading is about someone else's chart.

Why does ChatGPT get Saju wrong from a birth date alone?

Saju calculation depends on several rules that AI tends to miss. Three come up all the time.

  • When the year changes: The Saju year doesn't start on January 1 or Lunar New Year. It starts at Ipchun, around February 4. If you were born in January or early February, your animal sign and year pillar may be different from what you expect.
  • When the month changes: Saju months follow the solar terms, not the calendar month. Being born within a few days of a solar term boundary can change your month pillar.
  • Birth time correction: The same clock time can give a different hour pillar depending on the longitude of your birthplace (true solar time correction).

AI talks as if it knows these rules, but in the actual date math it often sets a pillar wrong by a day or an hour. That's why the accurate approach splits the job: a calendar engine calculates, and the AI interprets. There's more on this in why your Saju birth chart needs both a calculator and AI.

The free Saju prompt contains your calculated Four Pillars, your Day Master and five-element balance, your yin-yang balance, and the Ten Gods for each pillar. From that data the AI reads four things: your chart in a single line, your natural strengths and talents, the inner conflicts that keep repeating, and your relationship with money.

The prompt also tells the AI not to calculate luck cycles, the useful god or special stars on its own. That keeps it from inventing values it doesn't actually know and presenting them with confidence.

Want to write your own Saju prompt?

If you write your own, the key is still the same: paste in calculated chart data. Fill the bracketed lines in the template below with the chart you get from Qiora.

You are a Korean Saju (Four Pillars) counselor.
Read my chart using only the data below. Do not recalculate my chart.

[Four Pillars: year, month, day, hour]
[Day Master and five-element balance]

1. My natural temperament and strengths
2. My style with work and money
3. Patterns that keep repeating in my relationships
Be warm but honest, and explain any technical terms in plain English.

The line "Do not recalculate my chart" is important. Without it, the AI may rebuild the pillars from your birth date and end up contradicting the data you pasted.

Which works best: ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?

If you paste in calculated chart data, any of them works. The accuracy of a Saju reading depends more on whether the data in the prompt is right than on which AI reads it. Stick with the one you already use, or paste the same prompt into two or three and compare.

That said, after trying many of them ourselves, the lowest-tier free models tend to give thinner explanations. A model with a thinking or reasoning mode usually gives a noticeably better reading.

How is Qiora's free prompt different from the premium one?

Frequently asked questions

Is a Saju reading from ChatGPT accurate?

It can be quite accurate when you give it calculated chart data. Most inaccurate readings come from asking the AI to calculate the chart too. Get your Four Pillars from a calculator and let the AI do the reading.

Is there a free Saju prompt?

Yes. Qiora's free Saju calculator lets you copy a free Saju prompt without signing up. Premium, which adds luck cycles, the useful god and timing, is paid.

Can I just give GPT my birth date?

You can, but there's a real risk your year, month or hour pillar will be wrong. AI often misses rules like Ipchun, solar terms and birthplace time correction when it does the date math.

Does a Saju prompt work in Claude or Gemini?

Yes. A Saju prompt is plain text, so it works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or any chat-based AI.

What if I don't know my birth time?

If you don't know it, the chart is calculated for noon, and the prompt tells the AI that the hour pillar is an estimate. The hour pillar affects your element balance, so add your birth time if you can find it.

What makes AI good at reading Saju is, in the end, the right eight characters. Let Qiora do the calculating and let your AI do the reading.
